Roma Roma Italia ♡

Ciao, finally manage to squeeze some of my time to blog about my 2015 October Europe trip. A late post to cure myself from missing all these countries. Emirates airline was the choice for my family & I flying to Rome, it takes around 14 hours to arrived in the other side of earth excluding transfer duration in Dubai. Oh well, return flight is from Dublin, Ireland back to Penang, Malaysia. Round trip cost each of us RM2960 for PEN - KUL - DXB - FCO ; DUB - DXB - KUL - PEN

Well, let's start our journey in Rome! I booked a 3 rooms apartment at Trastevere, south of Vatican City. Most convenient way from airport to Roma Trastevere was by Trenitalia's FR1 train, €8 for each pax. I chose to accommodate in Trastevere as after reading some review by local, unlike Rome city, Trastevere is way more peaceful and we can have more walking experience in this town safely. First spot after checked-in our apartment was Ponte Sisto, an arch bridge in Rome, Italy. We do enjoy every of the moment during the two hours walking journey to our destination.

- Some pictures to feel the moment.

Happy shopping in the convenient store.

Day 2 - Grab B.I.T. one way standard ticket (€1.50) and get into a tram to visit Roma Capitale. It took around 20 minutes to reach in Piazza Venezia from Trastevere, then it's walk-able to Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Piazza di Spagna, etc. You might explore more during the journey. Well, what you need to prepare on hand is a full map from their tourist information counter and a comfy shoes to walk all the way :)

Whenever we are waiting for tram, and there's network connection, this gonna be the outcome :D

take 2! lol

Something exciting to mention, we manage to purchase our last minute soccer match ticket of Roma vs Empoli. With the price of €25/pax and we got to watch such a great soccer match in Stadio Olimpico. We took cab to arrived in Stadio from Piazza di Spagna once we end our shopping session. Its around 10 minutes driving with only €9.

Always happy to experience something new.
I will try to complete blogging of my entire Europe trip soon! Happy reading people!
